Motorycles

Motorcycles....

Two wheels versus four
More gears on the floor

Fresh air all around
New experiences abound

Those that ride certainly agree
Motorcycling really can set you free

V-twin, flat-twin, three cylinders or even four
All running in harmony with a wonderful roar

Japanese, British, American, German and more
No judgement needed once you head out the door

Commuting, travelling all with pleasure
These are occasions for one to treasure

Why do we try?

Why do we try?

Are our idols worth all the fuss?
I bet you all they do is cuss

People living life in public
Looking for a better republic

Reality TV, social media, this and that
You know that millionaire is really a brat

Millions of people tuning in for the final rose
Couldn’t they write their own story of prose?

After a life of change and invention
Colour TV, touch tone phone and a T1 connection

Is the world a better place or not
Time will tell the ultimate plot

Man, woman, black white and brown
LBGTQ2, straight or married in town

All must get along
As we all belong.

Second Writing - for a colleague leaving our company

Ode to G-Diddy

This is the story of our friend George,
Doesn’t ring a bell, perhaps you know him in Serbian as Djordge

About 12 years ago, He started working at Symcor,
At that time he was young and hardcore

His career started in graphic design,
It wasn’t too long before his skills had to realign

Moving into the role of junior client rep,
He quickly began to pick up his step

After a while he had risen to senior account exec,
But there were some who said “what the heck?”

Along the way, he met a woman named Kat,
All he would talk about was this and that

George soon realized that she was the one,
Could this be it, was his single life done?

In a fairy tale ceremony they wed,
He certainly was love struck in the head!

Unfortunately his time at Symcor is done,
Now what on earth will we do for fun?

Symcro has lost a brother,
Turn in your patch and go get another

All the best, now and always,

I am certain our paths will cross in the hallways.

Stop and look around.

Why all the rush, day in and day out
In the end, what’s it really all about?

So many pressures from every direction
Too many people seeking perfection

Email, text, phone and chat
“Hey buddy, where you at?”

Why not put it all on hold
Take time to reconnect with nature and see what unfolds

Open up and see all that is around
Natural, beautiful and so profound

Real, alive and in living colour
Stop, look and listen to me brother.
